We've partnered with Stamp Stampede to #GetMoneyOut!

The Stampede is tens of thousands of Americans legally stamping messages on our Nation’s currency to #GetMoneyOut of Politics.  As the amount of stamped money grows, so does the movement to amend the Constitution.  If you stamp just $3 a day – 1 million people will see your message!

Stamp Stampede was created by activist Ben Cohen of Ben & Jerry's.

ACTION STEP:  Purchase a stamp and have fun stamping!

Each stamp is $10 or BUY the DVD/Stamp combo for just $24.95

YES, IT'S LEGAL!

Many people assume that it’s illegal to stamp or write on paper currency, but that’s not the case. It’s illegal to destroy paper currency or deface it so much that it’s no longer recognizable and has to be taken out of circulation. But that’s definitely not what we’re up to.

You can read what their lawyer had to say about this and see the relevant sections of the law. Download it here. If your intent is to make the money unusable, it’s illegal; but we want our bills to be used over and over again! Also, it is illegal to put a commercial advertisement on money. But we are putting political messages on the bills, not commercial advertisements. Because we all want these bills to stay in circulation and we're stamping to send a message about an issue that's important to us, it's legal!
